GRAFPAK-GKS is a graphics subroutine library that conforms to theANSI/ISO graphical kernel system (GKS) standard. GRAPHPAK-GKS wasdeveloped from the outset to be machine and device independent tofacilitate performance and ease of porting. It provides comprehensivefunctions for developing graphics applications that include the entireGKS functionality as well as powerful extensions to the standard.Available with FORTRAN, C, and Ada bindings, GRAFPAK-GKS runs on variouscomputers and operating systems; supports numerous graphics devices andprotocols, including the X Window System and PostScript; and provides CGMand GKS metafile formats.
